About Me

Hey there! Glad you made it here safely. Before we get started, there are three things you should know about me:

1. You can call me Samantha. Or Sam. But never Sammy.

2. I’m a freelance writer, editor, and content marketing strategist.

3.  Also a big peanut butter fan. Adventure addict. Devoted dog mom.

If any of that piques your interest, then we’re off to a solid start. A few other things worth knowing:

I grew up in Upstate New York (@ me if you want to debate where that begins), studying journalism and creative writing with a specialization in screenwriting before making my way to New York City. That’s where I launched my career, working on both print and digital staffs for Fitness (RIP), Redbook, and Runner’s World before kickstarting my freelance career. (Check out my portfolio to see a sampling of brands I’ve worked with.)

I’ve since relocated to Denver, where I mainly cover health and fitness, adventure and luxury travel, and sex and relationships. But inspiration strikes everywhere — so if something excites me, I write about it. (Kind of like the times I talked to a sugar baby about supporting her son, had a taco-and-beer crawl through San Diego, or chatted with a microbiologist about which sex positions work when you have the flu.)

Mainstream media isn’t the only place you’ll find my work — I also specialize in content marketing management, branded content development, and SEO strategy. While creativity is in my blood, data analysis is my brain—and I blend both to forge strong, meaningful connections with consumers that ultimately encourage conversion for your business.

So whether you need me to optimize your content to reach that top Google ranking, edit a six-page spread on deadline, or build a cohesive strategy that pulls audiences all the way through your funnel, I’m here to put my 11+ years of experience to use. Drop me a line, follow me on Instagram, or tweet me a funny GIF. Either way, I’m excited to see how we can work together soon.
